Chemo hats as gifts

Over the years we have talked to hundreds of chemo patients and invariably their comments concerning hats are these.  Having had hair and losing it their heads are cold so they need hats  for comfort. Of course they also want to cover up their bald heads and like something that fits their fashion sense and self image.  The most important thing , though, is the following:   Cotton fabrics and acrylic knits are favored,  because they do not itch their sensitive heads and foreheads.  The head is the most sensitive part of the body.  If it itchs our chemo patient  friend or family member will not wear it or  wear it suffering needlessly being afraid to hurt your feelings. This is hard enough for our chemo loved one. .Let's give them headwear they will love because it helps their recovery physically and mentally.
